‘Till Death Do Us Part…no, but seriously.

Read This.

Read the the article above. Then proceed to let your jaw drop to the floor in amazement, as did mine. Seriously? A ban on divorce? I’m not exactly sure what anyone is thinking on this one. California is slowly becoming one of the worst states to live in. And what’s their governor doing about it?

Filming a new movie. Brilliant. I’m going to laugh when eventually the rest of the United States decide to just oust California from the country because of their stupidity. Am I alone in this mindset? Should I have some life changing, proverbial 2×4 to the head to make me realize the need for something like this? Or does anyone else agree?

  • At the risk of being hit by a 2×4 myself, I think the notion of banning divorces is ridiculous. The way I see it, one of two things would happen: 1) there would be a sudden rush of spouses being found dead or 2) everyone in CA would decide to ‘live in sin’. Or 3) all of the above. But then again 4) maybe that’s not such a bad idea to just step back and watch the show. And 5) Arnie’s filming a new movie? Are you kidding? 6) *shakes head and walks away because I can’t count*

  • 'Timshel

Absolutely ridiculous. Oh, being a Californian I also resent that comment, but I won’t contest it either. Our Governator, hah. That’s amusing.

  • But! But! I live in California! Clearly that has to give the entire state *some* redeeming qualities, no?

  • Quite honestly, yes. It does. It takes California from a measly 50% “coolness” rating, and jumps it to at least a 75%. Seriously. After reading through your blog, I’m pretty sure I wet myself from laughing so hard.
